Vibrant Dice

These dice seem to be brighter than others I have purchased. I like that the carrying/charging case is compact.

Chunky, bright, will light up everything in your bag

I don't think I'd use these as my go-to dice, but these are definitely something I'd break out at some point. Unlike a lot of novelty dice, these guys seem to actually roll decently, and don't make me feel the need to start logging rolls. The dice charge when you insert them with their lowest side facing down. On most of the dice this means the highest side facing up (eg put the 20 on the d20 facing up to charge). The d10's you will face the 9 up and the 0/00 down, because someone somewhere doesn't undestand that 0 on a d10 is 10, not 0. Minor quibble, not worth dinging a star over.

The dice themselves will only illuminate when rolled. The d20 can be a little reticent with this compared to the others, maybe I just got a less sensitive one. Sometimes it wont glow when rolling out of the box, it's gotta get a good shock from hitting a table. You may wish to roll on bare table. These are plastic dice, they're not going to be marring your wood table.

When they light up they cycle through some colors. The colors are bright, easy to read, and are visible across the table. I'm a little less than thrilled at the seeming use of comic sans as the numbers font, but they certainly are readable.

Ultimately these are fun, not overly heavy, and very functional dice. You can absolutely use these at a DnD game without catching hell from the dice weighted nerds who'll accuse anything other than chessex as being weighted.

Flashiest dice I've ever seen

These dice are definitely showstoppers. If you want to make a splash at a tabletop session, these will do it! They look awesome when they light up on a roll, which they do... most of the time. Even freshly charged, some of these dice were less consistent about lighting up than others, but the effect is undeniably cool when it works.

I am skeptical that these can really be perfectly balanced with whatever lighting and charging equipment is packed inside them, but after tracking 100 rolls on each of them, I didn't find any definitive evidence that they're off balance. They all had peaks on some numbers that were 50% or more than expected, but you're always going to get peaks and valleys with a random result. The only one that had a really concerning outcome was the D6, where 2 came up 38 out of 100 times. You'd need more than 100 rolls to really call foul, but I think I'd probably skip these if you care more about rolling fair than the aesthetic impact.
